GodEl’s customers with Ngenic Tune installed reduced their electricity bills by up to 8,000 kronor during the 2022–23 winter season and achieved similar savings in 2023–24.
The study shows that customers who installed Ngenic Tune reduced their energy consumption by 20%. For those who used the Electricity Price Control feature—and thus purchased electricity when it was cheapest—the savings increased even further. These customers not only saved more money, but their total energy consumption decreased by 24%.
The project was partially funded by the Bra Miljöval Energy Fund, which is financed by proceeds from GodEl’s sales of electricity labeled “Bra Miljöval.” The Energy Fund’s resources helped provide GodEl’s customers with a discounted price on Ngenic Tune and Ngenic Track heat pump control systems during the 2022 electricity price crisis.
