Ngenic Energi and Bitvis have enabled support for Ngenic Tune on the Bitvis platform. This makes it easier for energy companies to offer smart heating control as part of their digital customer offering to homeowners.
Heating is one of the largest energy expenses in Swedish single-family homes. Through this integration, Ngenic Energy’s smart heating control technology can be linked to the energy app from Bitvis, giving households better ways to manage their heating and take control of their energy usage.
“We’re seeing very strong momentum around energy efficiency right now. Through integration with the Bitvis platform, our smart heating control solution can become a natural part of the Bitvis energy app and help more households reduce their costs and energy consumption,” says Fredrik Lemming, CEO of Ngenic Energi.
The Bitvis platform enables energy companies to offer their customers a digital interface for tracking, understanding, and influencing their energy usage. With support for Ngenic Tune, energy companies can enhance their customer solutions with smart control and optimization of heating directly within the Bitvis energy app.
This collaboration comes at a time when energy is a highly topical issue. In 2025, energy prices were a clear driver of inflation, with cost increases of around 10 percent. This year, Svenska kraftnät has recently warned of the risk of continued high electricity prices, which increases the need for smart energy use in households.
“The energy transition isn’t just determined by large-scale systems and markets, but also by how easy it is for households to make smart choices in their daily lives. In this regard, heating control is a clear example of technology that can deliver immediate benefits for both customers and energy companies. Together with Ngenic Energi, we can help make those benefits more accessible,” says Gustav Kristiansson, CEO of Bitvis.
This partnership is a step toward both companies' goal of contributing to a more energy-efficient and sustainable society.
